We all have individual needs when it comes to physical, meditative or spiritual practices. In curating the selection of classes we offer, we deliberately chose to honour our differences. Below you will find the description of each class. If in doubt on which class to choose, please reach out to us and we will help you find the environment which will best suit your needs.

  • Ashtanga Led (Primary)

    WITH SOME MOVEMENT PRACTICE

Ashtanga Yoga is a style of yoga in which the students practice a set series of poses broken down into multiple series. Once one series is mastered, the students move on to the next one. This however does not happen overnight as even the first (primary) series is a challenging movement practice in and of itself. In led classes, we flow through the entire primary series together, at the instruction and count of the teacher. This format is a useful addition to the traditional Mysore way of practicing, as it allows you to refresh the count and breath cues in a group setting and challenges you to stay in asanas for longer than you would normally count for yourself. This is a very physical class, with little to no theory. No music is played.

  • Mysore Programme (on pause)

    ALL LEVELS

    SUITABLE FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS

Mysore is the traditional way of practicing Ashtanga Yoga. In this setting students arrive and start practicing independently within the given time window offered for practice. The teacher will be there to guide you through the sequence, as well as support you by way of adjustments and verbal cues. As Ashtanga Yoga is based on practicing the same sequences for a longer period of time, after a few weeks students are able to flow through the class independently, opening space for a deep level of concentration and meditation in movement. This class includes only verbal cues directed to individuals, it is therefore optimal should you prefer less talk and no music in your practice. It is traditional in the sense that the sequences are not modified and taught in the way they are taught all over the world, it is however highly adaptable to individual needs considering the personalised attention the teacher is able to give each participant. A very physical practice, with little theory and an incredible potential to grow.

  • Ashtanga Open

    ALL LEVELS

SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS AFTER A FEW ASHTANGA BEGINNERS CLASSES

Ashtanga Open is our signature style and represents an easeful take on the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method. These classes are built on the sequences practiced in Ashtanga Yoga, but they are modified to bring further accessibility to the practice. In some cases this means that variations are offered to the poses, in others it means that the pace is changed to fit the students’ needs. We also like to incorporate strength drills and other exercises that provide variety of movement. Although somewhat more playful and versatile than Ashtanga Led classes, these classes are also physically challenging. There are more explanations to the individual asanas, but similarly to the other Ashtanga formats, there is little to no references to spirituality. Music would only be played occasionally, e.g. to support the final relaxation sequence.

  • Vinyasa Yoga

    ALL LEVELS

    SUITABLE FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS

This class is a creative sequence where teachers tailor the contents to the time of the day, to a specific focus or pose, or to a mood. It is a great way to dive into the versatility yoga has to offer and allows students to experience a vast range of movement. Music is usually part of the class.

  • Slow Flow

    ALL LEVELS

    SUITABLE FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS

This class is a Vinyasa-type flow class. The class is always different, and the focus depends highly on the students present as well as the teacher of the class. If you are a beginner and you wish to explore the variety of movement yoga can offer, this class is also a good starting point. The classes are tailored to ensure everyone is challenged within their respective limits. Music is usually playing on this class. There is little theoretical talk.

  • Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga

    ALL LEVELS

    SUITABLE FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS

Yin Yoga is a relaxing class where poses are held for some minutes. The asanas in this class are restorative, and are usually more focused in flexibility than strength. The class can be challenging in a very different way than our other classes, in that holding poses and working with what comes up in your mind through this stillness can be difficult at times. Music is a big component of this class, with a selection that fosters deep relaxation.

  • Jivamukti Yoga

    ALL LEVELS

    SUITABLE FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS

This popular style of yoga stems from the USA and represents a specific take on Vinyasa yoga. The sequences vary from class-to-class, there are however elements that you will recognise that are always present. Jivamukti Yoga works with a so called focus of the month, which can be yoga-related, but can also be something more broad. There is usually a connection between the class itself and this focus, if you therefore wish to explore how you can bridge movement practice to different aspects of your life, this is a good class for you. Music plays an important role in these classes.

  • Jivamukti Spiritual Warrior

    ALL LEVELS

SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS, AFTER A FEW ABSOLUTE BEGINNER CLASSES

This class is a Jivamukti-style class, where similarly to Ashtanga Yoga classes, one specific series is taught. It is a very balanced class with lots of movement. Music is played on this class.

  • Handstand Class

    ALL LEVELS

This class is focusing on handstands and related acrobatic moves. It aims to create an opportunity to practice different skills needed for handstands and many other challenging postures, although the class is beginner-friendly. It is a playful, workshop-type class with music and continuous exchange and discourse.

  • Breathwork

    ALL LEVELS

    SUITABLE FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS

Breathwork classes offer a transformative journey into deeper states of consciousness, aimed at unlocking a wealth of benefits. By delving into controlled breathing techniques, participants can liberate stored emotions, enhance physical well-being, and fortify their immune systems. These classes are carefully complemented by curated music and playlists, serving as a harmonious backdrop for the practice, amplifying its impact.
